Archipeliga is a mystical land comprised of thousands of islands, sepearated by vast but peaceful ocean. Islands are of varying sizes, resources, distances apart, and advancement levels. Each island holds a small medallion called a Floatie. Archipeliga is governed by three rules:

1. The Floatie of every island must live in a prominent place in the island's main port.

2. If an island's Floatie leaves the island or touches water, the island immediately sinks underwater.

3. If an island's Floatie touches the ground on another island, the new island instantly (and safely) expands by the size of the first island. This new land will have the same natural resources as the island which lost the Floatie. The Floaties are then combined, and the new larger island treated as one island.

Alliances in the Archipeliga are formed by islands who agree to merge. One island will move all it's inhabitants to the other island, and then the last sailor will take the Floatie with them.
